What is Taika ?
Taika means "magic" in Finnish and every single one of our delightful ready-to-drink, adaptogen-infused beverages are designed to make you feel inspired, not wired.
Taika's mission is to fuel everyday creativity with our unique blend of single origin coffees, organic ceremonial grade matcha and functional mushrooms that deliver delicious taste as well as focused energy, enhanced creativity and reduced stress. Our approach aligns the journey and the destination, not just the taste and texture (which full transparency, is delightful). We venture beyond how it's sourced and prepared, to how it makes you feel and what that feeling unleashes within you.
What are adaptogens?
Adaptogens are plant-based ingredients (often mushrooms or fungi derived) that help the body adapt to stress. They're particularly well known in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Ayurvedic traditions, both of which have used adaptogens for centuries to fight all types of ailments.
Do I need to store my Taika in the fridge?
Taika can be stored anywhere at room temperature until it is opened. It is best enjoyed cold and should be refrigerated once opened. Enjoy Taika over ice, or if you prefer it hot, you can heat it to 170F.
How long is Taika good for?
We suggest enjoying your Taika before the expiration date printed in the bottom of the can - however, we suspect you're going to drink it much sooner. The best before date is 18 months from date of production.
Are your cans BPA free?
Yes — our cans are "BPA-NI"which means that they don't intentionally use or contain BPAs.
Are your products GMO-free?
Yes! Taika coffee and matcha are dairy-free, gluten-free AND non-GMO! We source the highest-quality, ethically-traded ingredients from our trusted suppliers.
We're in the process of getting Project Non-GMO Certification.
Is it possible your products are contaminated with peanuts?
Our production facility does not process peanuts, so it's extremely unlikely that your Taika would contain any traces of peanuts.
Can I drink Taika if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
We aren't doctors so we can't provide medical advice. We strongly recommend consulting your physician or another qualified health care provider before consuming Taika, especially if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.
Are your ingredients lab tested?
All of our ingredients are GRAS certified by the FDA. Our functional ingredients are lab tested for purity and heavy metals by an independent third party laboratory.
